Mutualism at Work: Bees pollinating the cacti and depending on the cacti for food as well is an example of a mutualistic relationship in the desert biome.
Commensalism at Work: When the cactus wren builds its nest in a cactus it protects the bird and its family and it doesn't harm the cactus at all. This is an example of commensalism.
Parasitism at Work: Fleas living on the bodies of bobcats and other animals is an example of parasitism. The flea gets benefits off the bobcat and the bobcat is driven insane.
Predation at Work: An example of predation is when a bobcat eats a rabbit. The predator (the bobcat) benefits from the nutrients and protein inside the rabbit whereas the rabbit of course dies.
